Khalil Gibran Quotes


Khalil Gibran was a Lebanese-American poet, artist, philosopher, theologian, painter and writer. Born on January 6th, 1883 and died in New York on April 10th, 1931. 

He immigrated to United States with his family when he was young and began his literary career as a writer. He gained popularity in the 1930s. 

Being regarded as a literary and political rebel in the Arab world, Khalil Gibran who was also known as Kahlil Gibran was a very romantic poet. He was the third best-selling poet of all time behind Shakespeare and Laozi.
